Dr. Joyce C. McNeill, 77, of Boonton

Dr. Joyce C. McNeill, 77, of Boonton, passed away on July 17, 2018, at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Hoboken, Dr. Joyce lived most of her life in Parsippany, before settling in Boonton in 2008.

Visitation for Dr. Joyce will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 5-9 PM  at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 North Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes NJ, 07046. Cremation will be private. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dr. Joyce’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Dr. Joyce was awarded her Doctorate degree from Drew University. Prior to her retirement, Dr. Joyce was a professor at Berkeley College in Woodland Park, NJ. She taught character studies in film at the Lake Hiawatha Public Library. Dr. Joyce was a member of the Boonton Rotary and the Boonton Historical Society.

Dr. Joyce is survived by her beloved husband Donald McNeill; her loving daughters Dr. Elisa de Junco (Andrew), Noelle Manganello (Robert) and Erika Domanico (Domenick); and 7 cherished grandchildren.
