Obituary of Gilda Di Pasquale

Gilda Di Pasquale, 89 Gilda Di Pasquale (nee Spinozzi) of Hackettstown passed away on Thursday April 26, 2012 at the House of The Good Shepherd. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton at 9:00 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown. Visiting will be Monday from 3-7 PM. Mrs. Di Pasquale was born and raised in Boonton before moving to Hackettstown in 2007. Gilda was a home maker all of her life and also worked beside her husband Patsy at their tailor shop in Mt. Lakes, N.J. She was a member of the Friendship Club, the Boontonites, Ladies Auxiliary VFW #242 and parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Boonton and the church Rosary Society. She was also active in the House of The Good Shepherd in Hackettstown. Mrs. Di Pasquale was the loving wife of the late Pasquale "Patsy" Di Pasquale. Devoted mother of Maryanne Czarnecki and her husband Thomas H. of Columbia, NJ. and the late John Di Pasquale. Loving sister of Mary Di Lillo of Hackettstown and the late Joseph Spinozzi. Cherished grandmother of Felicia Kearns and husband David of Highlands, NJ., Teresa Grasso and her husband Lou of Rahway, N.J., Amanda Brett and husband Ray of Sayerville, N.J., and Thomas J. Czarnecki and his wife Brooke of Coopersburg PA. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Florence Spinozzi of Boonton and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Di Pasquale of South Plainfield. Cherished Great-Grandmother of seven and survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. .
