Obituary of Donalda Louise Narcise

Donalda Louise Narcise, 65 Boonton, NJ Donalda L. Narcise (nee Vreeland), 65, of Boonton passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at her home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 at 8:30 AM. Then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton, for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Visiting will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090-6231 Donnie was born in Paterson, raised in Towaco, and was a long time resident of Boonton. She was a dedicated home maker, an avid gardener and floral designer; bowler, writer and choral singer. Donnie was a graduate of Boonton High School class of 1968. She was a former member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Choir and Bell Choir. She frequently volunteered as a clown at children's events in town, and for decades she was affectionately known as "The Hat Lady" of Boonton due to her daily walks around town while always brightly adorned with the hat de jour. Donalda was the beloved wife of 46 years of Robert Guy Narcise. Devoted mother of Brigitte Narcise Christman and her husband William, Robert Jr. and his wife Lisa, and Helen Azzinnari and her husband Matt. Loving sister of Pat Tillman, Hurl Vreeland, and the late Eugene Vreeland and Cynthia Vreeland. Cherished grandmother of Donovan, Jonathan, and Lianna.
