Obituary of Michael George Bohon

Michael George Bohon, 87 Flemington, NJ Michael G. Bohon, 87 years old, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, at Hunterdon Care Center-LTC, in Raritan Township, NJ. He was born in Boonton, and was a lifelong resident (and active BHS alumni), before residing with his son and family in Flemington, N.J. Mr. Bohon proudly served in WWII as Sgt., for the U.S. Air Force. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and AP Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars. Mike was also active in the annual reunion of his bomber squadron, the 509th Composite Group. He was a technical illustrator for the aerospace industry contributing to the Apollo and Saturn space missions. Michael was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee Gould); loving father of Karen Moyer and her husband Don; Laurie Cullity and late husband Gerard; son, Michael and his wife Sherrill; beloved brother of Frank, John and Irene Michels; cherished grandfather of Ian, Taylor, Lindsay, and Kristyn. Memorial service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., Boonton, NJ.
