Obituary of Richard Douglas Trewitt

Type Obit H Richard Douglas Trewitt, 57 Boonton Township, New Jersey Richard Douglas Trewitt, of Boonton Township, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013. He was born in New York and has lived in Montville, Rockaway, Boonton and then to Boonton Township for the past 9 years. He proudly served in the US Army, in the Sp 4th class and was a member of the Pioneers of America. Richard is survived by his loving wife Irene (nee Bono); beloved daughter Erin Matushek; cherished sister MaryEllen Dyckman and her husband Eugene, and brother's Patrick, Thomas and his wife Diana, Myles, John and his wife Jennifer; also survived by his sister-in-law Penny Trewitt, many dear nieces and nephews; and beloved Border Collies. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Ira Myles and Mary A. Trewitt; and sibling's Nancy Trewitt, Daniel and Michael Trewitt. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton from 2:00 - 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:30 at the funeral home.
