Obituary of Daniel Anthony Ezzi

Daniel “Danny” Anthony Ezzi, 91 Boonton, NJ Daniel “Danny” Anthony,91, of Boonton passed away on Saturday March 2, 2013 at his home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2013 Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. Visiting will be Tuesday 4-8 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Danny’s name to the Boonton Fire Department, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 or the NJ Fireman’s Home, 565 Lathrop Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005. Daniel was born in Boonton and was a life long resident. He was floor mechanic working for Slaters in Paterson, NJ. He was a member of the Boontonites , the South Boonton Hose and Engine Company # 3 for over 60 years. He also played for the Boonton Panthers Semi Pro Football team. Mr. Ezzi proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during World War II on board the USS California. His outstanding military service was noted in the book “An Honor to Serve” Danny was the beloved husband of 68 years of Josephine Ezzi (nee Pressimore) Devoted father of Donna Debbie and Monta Ezzi. Loving brother of Carmela Lewis and the late Louie, Benjamin, Gabriel and Rose Corigliano. Cherished grandfather of Dawn, Mark, Jennifer. Great-grandfather of Mark Jr.
