Obituary of William Eugene Kolynych

William E. Kolynych, 87 Geneva, Florida William E. Kolynych passed away peacefully on April 1, 2015. He was born in Canonsburg, Pa.; and lived in Newark, New Mexico, and Toms River before moving to Florida recently. Billy proudly served and retired from the US Navy as Chief Petty Officer from 1945 to 1978, receiving many awards and medals. Billy was the beloved son of the late William and Mary Kolynych. He is survived by his cherished cousins Joann Foley and her husband John, Patrick Gabowsky and his wife Jo-Ann, and Robert Gabowsky; and second cousin and caregiver John Foley; also surviving other relatives. Visitation will be held on Friday morning, April 10, 2015 from 9 to 11 AM, with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, in Boonton.
