Obituary of Arthur Valletta

Arthur T. Valletta, 90 Boonton, NJ Arthur T. Valletta, 90, of Boonton, NJ passed away on May 8, 2014 at Saint Clares Hospital, in Denville. . Born in Boonton, to the late Michael and Anna (nee Ferrone) Valletta. He remained a lifelong resident of Boonton. He graduated from Our Lady of Mt.Carmel School and Boonton High School. Arthur proudly served his country as a Sergeant for the US Army Air Corps., during WWII. He received the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He worked for Cessna Aircraft Company for 40 years in Boonton Twp, before retiring in 1983. Arthur was the beloved brother of the late John J. Valletta and Anna L. Mehner. He is survived by his cherished niece Marjorie Peterson and nephews Joseph Valletta, John Valletta and William Mehner; also survived by other family and friends. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 starting at 9 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St., in Boonton. Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, in Boonton. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Boonton. Visiting will be Monday, May 12, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Funeral Home.
