Obituary of Ann Joan Hardy

Ann J. Hardy, 94 Ann Bishop Hardy, 94, a woman filled with determination, love, and conviction for her family, friends, and God was called to her eternal home on November 28, 2014. Predeceased by her loving husband, Ed, in 1998, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sister, Sophie Mitchko, her three children, Ed Jr. and his wife Pat, Billy, Maureen and her husband Chris, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was best known for her green thumb, her skills as a seamstress, and the delicious dishes she created in the kitchen; all while being stylishly dressed. Most of all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a great neighbor. Her devotion to her family was only surpassed by faith in her loving God. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Birch Street in Boonton and will be followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005.
