Obituary of Marie Maher

Marie M. Maher (nee Smith), 80, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. She was born in Denville, raised in Rockaway before moving to Boonton in 1958. Marie was a dedicated wife, mother, home maker and a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Marie was the beloved wife of the late James J. Maher, loving mother of Jay and his wife Jan; and cherished sister of Frank Smith. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, Janurary 30, 2015 at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton at 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St, Boonton. Interment will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, in Boonton.
