Obituary of Mary Pompey

Mary Pompey (nee Venturini), 90, of Boonton, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at St. Clare's Hospital, in Denville. She was born in Boonton, lived in Rockaway Twp before moving back to Boonton. She was a cafeteria worker for Rockaway Township Schools and was a member of the Friendship Club in Boonton and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Carl Pompey; loving mother of Donna Pompey; dear sister of Louis Venturini and the late Arthur, Anthony, Angelo, and Ester Venturini; Lillian Diguseppi and Jospeh Porzio; dear sister-in-law of Gloria Scarpone, Andy and Marion Pompey; cherished Aunt of Joel and Kim Venturini and family, and many other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St., in Boonton; with a 12:00 noon Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., in Boonton. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Boonton. Visiting will be on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
