Curtis W. Bailey, Sr. "Rocky", 66, of Montville Twp., passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, in Boonton, NJ. A Funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Ave., East Hanover. Curtis was born and raised in North Carolina, and lived in Boonton before moving to Montville Twp., 40 years ago. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for Hermann Metal, in Totowa; and an exempt fireman for Montville Fire Department, Excelsior Company #1.
Curtis was the beloved husband, of 47 yrs to Linda (nee Springs) Bailey; loving father of Curtis Jr. and his wife Leigh, Tammy Bilgeshouse and her husband William; devoted brother to 4 brothers and 4 sisters; cherished grandfather of Tara, step grand- daughter Ashley and the late Kenneth.
