Obituary of Helen Catherine Thomas

Helen Anne Catherine Thomas, 76 Helen Anne Catherine Thomas (nee O’Malley), 76, of Succasunna passed away on Wednesday May 8, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Arrangements are by Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton. Visiting will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Helen was born in Orange and raised in West Orange, moving to Succasunna in 1963. Helen worked for Sears & Roebuck in Rockaway as Payroll Administrator for 35 years. She was an active member of the Roxbury Seniors. Helen was the beloved mother of Peter and his wife Diane, William and his wife Christine, John and his wife Leslie, and Mike and his wife Maria. Beloved sister of John Patrick O’Malley Jr., Margaret “Peggy” Bradley and the late Michael O’Malley. Devoted grandmother of Peter, Michael, Kyle, Sean, Ryan, Nicholas, Alexandar, Kristina, and Kevin. Helen was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
