Obituary of Edmondo Alfonso De Dominicis

Edmondo Alfonso De Dominicis of Boonton passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Merry Heart of Boonton. Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 8, 2012 at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association., P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Mr. De Dominicis was born and raised in Rome, Italy before moving to Boonton in 1951. Mr. De Dominicis proudly served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He was the Foreman for the Boonton Street Department for 30 years before retiring in 2005. Prior to that he was mason working for DiGuiseppi & DiGiacopo Mason and for Tom Manella Carpentry. Mr. De Dominicis was a member of the Boonton Fire Department for 45 years and also the Harmony Drum Corp in Boonton Fire House. Mr. De Dominicis was the beloved husband of 51 years of Mary "Nardi" De Dominicis. Devoted father of Mario. Loving brother of Louise Scerbo and her husband Joseph. Cherished Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
