Obituary of Maureen Clare Accinni

Maureen Clare Accinni, 61, Rutherford Maureen Clare Accinni, of Rutherford, passed away at home on December 10, 2015. Maureen was born on September 12, 1954 in Denville and was raised in Boonton, where she attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School. She graduated from Morris Catholic High School in 1972 and went on to study nursing at County College of Morris, graduating in 1984. Maureen worked at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville from 1984 to 1997. She has lived in Rutherford with her beloved partner, Wade Sargent, for the past 13 years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Maureen was the loving daughter of Julia Grimes and the late Joseph Grimes. She is survived by her loving daughters Valerie Hemenway (Chad) and Charlene Accinni. She was the cherished grandmother of Claire and Madelyn. Maureen was the dear sister of Joanne Marriott (David), Kathleen DiYanni, and Partricia Gallagher (Gerald). She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street in Boonton at 10:00 AM. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 PM, at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will be private.
