My sincere condolences to the entire family of Lloyd Charlton. As it was remarked at his memorial service, he was "a force of Nature"--and he will be missed.

Having been born into a world that already had lloyd in it, it's hard for me to imagine a world without him.
To acknowledge a loss like this is also to acknowledge the gifts that Lloyd provided to everyone that met him during his lifetime -- Cheerful wisdom, selfless generosity, upbeat perspective and authentic friendship, to name just a few.
When I think about Lloyd, I am reminded of many happy times and fun family memories spanning years and decades. He will be missed greatly by everyone that knew him -- but he will also be fondly remembered for as long as those he impacted continue to spread his cheerful positivity. I am thankful to have known him.
–Dan Latner, family friend.

It is sad really very sad for him to leave us like this. He is a ray of sunshine to all of us when he walks in a room he just brightens it up, with his smile. He makes us laugh and makes us care for each other ; and love everyone also everybody he is the reason of why we are here today. For us to fulfill his dream his duty. As a member and citizen of Boonton, he wants us to be the best and that; he is up there with our father safe and happy. Let Lloyd Charlton shine down to the people that he loves and cares about. All of his years here down on Earth with his family and friends. Let his light come down to his family and friends, the people that he loves and cares about. He is someone somebody that can’t be forgotten. He is here with us and in spirit also, in our hearts but up there a better place for him. Right now at this moment we can cry and mourn. For his lost with everything he has given us. Let’s embrace the facts and real life also embrace each other that we love and care about. Life is not a game life is to precious that can’t be played around. Like at this time that we are here in this room with everybody that we know, love and care about him Lloyd Charlton. Let him Rest In Peace

The Waterhouse family was one of many, who always enjoyed the festive family picnics and parties throughout the years with Lloyd and his family. He was a true servant and dear friend. We carry many special memories in our heart.

I am just a friend of the Charlton family but as long as I have known them, they have made me feel as if I were part of their family. I only met Lloyd a few times, that was through his granddaughter Bridget. But I was honored and glad to have met him. I remember Lloyd as a kind and charming man who loved to talk about his life experiences, he was a good story teller. I will miss him. My condolences to his family. Greg (G-man)
