Obituary of Nazzareno Moscarini

Nazzareno “Neno” Moscarini, 82, of Boonton, passed away on February 1, 2021 at his home. Born and raised in Italy, Neno immigrated to the United States in 1964, settling in Boonton.

Neno worked for the Public Works Department for the Town of Mountain Lakes. He was a member of the South Boonton Fire Department, Hose and Engine Company #3. Neno was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will follow immediately at Greenwood Cemetery, Washington Street in Boonton.

 In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Neno’s name be made to the Market St. Mission, 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ 07960. Neno was predeceased by his loving son Neno Moscarini and his brother Secondo Moscarini. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Silvana (Bacchetta) Moscarini; his adored daughters Annida Evans (Thomas) and Sharon Marks-Moscarini; his cherished grandchildren Maxwell, Madison and Laura; and great grandchildren Luna and Violet; his caring brothers Rino Moscarini and Gino Moscarini; and many nieces and nephews.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home or Church

will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping us all safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
