I met Marc in Florence Freshman year of college. Our discussions were lively and heated, we loved talking politics and we had the opposite beliefs. I always enjoyed Marc's opinion, they were thoughtful. It took time, but at the end of our year abroad together it finally hit me that Marc and I really were on the same side, fighting for the same cause. He wanted a better world, he saw injustice everywhere and felt something needed to be done about it. Only months ago I was talking about God and religion with Marc on facebook. I will miss him and prayers go out to the family. Caleb Lucas
