Obituary of Jeanne E Alvine

Jeanne Alvine, 92, of Montville, passed away quietly at her home on April 23, 2020. She is predeceased by her husband, Samuel Jr.

 

Jeanne was a teacher and the chairperson of the Pequannock High School Art Department where she was employed for 27 years. She was a talented artist, photographer, and received many accolades as a member of the New Jersey Pastel Art Society, showing her work at private galleries and other venues, such as the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. Jeanne was a passionate and prolific painter of ocean coastal landscapes from Acadia National Park in Maine. She also loved to travel and was an avid gardener.

 

She is survived by her children Deborah Lobrovich, Barbara and husband Anthony Rizzo and Samuel III and wife MaryAnn Alvine. She has eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
