Obituary of Edward James Alexander
Edward James Alexander, 47, of Cedar Grove
Edward James Alexander, 47, of Cedar Grove passed away suddenly on April 18, 2019 at his residence. Born in Newark, Eddie lived in Roseland before settling in Cedar Grove.
Eddie graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science. He worked in the catering business with Richie Cecere’s in Montclair. He loved Peconic Bay in the Hamptons, and was an avid New York Yankee and Dallas Cowboy fan.
Visitation will be held at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 26, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Interment will follow immediately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eddie’s name may be made to the St. Pius X Organ Fund.
Eddie is survived by his beloved parents, Harvey and Patty Alexander; his loving brother, Brian Alexander (Mahua); his cherished nephew Devan; his longtime partner Karinna Northrup; Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
