Obituary of Peter Patrick Onorati

Peter Onorati, 88, of Boonton Township

Peter Onorati, 88, of Boonton Township passed away on January, 1 2019 at his home. Peter was a lifelong resident of Boonton Township.

Peter was the owner of S. Onorati & Sons Construction Company for many years. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines during the Korean War. Pete was a member of Boonton Knights of Columbus Barett Council 1954.

Visitation will be held at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow immediately at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Boonton.

Peter is survived by his loving sons Peter and his wife Jeanette and Jack and his wife Rose; his cherished grandchildren Sonny, Frankie, Charlie, John, Daniel and Julia; his caring brother Paul Onorati and his wife Theresa. Peter was predeceased by his beloved wife Rose (nee Scarese )Onorati in November 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Peter’s name to the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Ambulance Squad, PO Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005.
