Robert’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Our department was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a constant benefactor to our organization and a very nice man.
We would also like to thank those who made a donation in his name.

Bob what can I say other than thank you ! You helped me get my CDL and taught me so much about trucks and tractors. For someone of his stature to take the time out of his insanely busy day to go to motor vehicle with me describes how kind of a man he was. Regardless of the fact that I had to run across the highway to grab a chain binder in the roadway.Mikey you did the best that a son could ever do for his dad , take care of him when he needed it ! Good job man !!!

When we sold our family farm in 1995 there were still some old tractors in one of the barns. As i knew Bob was a collector of farm equipment, I invited him to come up and take the equipment.
He drove down the small farm road in Massachusetts in the largest 18 wheel flat bed truck I had ever seen with a Bobcat on the back. He proceeded to use the Bobcat to pull all three old tractors out of the barn and take them with him. He was so happy and in his element with trucks, tractors and work clothes!!!

I first met Bob when I was in my early 20's. My father Irvin took me to NY/NJ for a sales/buying trip but really it was an educational trip. There I first learned about spray drying and gum arabic from the "gentle giant" Bob. Bob's business was Adron then having just split off from Norda. He explained the name was created by simply reversing the letters of Norda. Bob and his staff were welcoming and generous with information. Bob will always have a special place in my heart. RIP "gentle giant."
Fondly,
Alan
