Obituary of Marcel Gabriel Bouroult
Marcel “Frenchie” Bouoult, 90, of Boonton
Marcel “Frenchie” Bouroult, 90, of Boonton, passed away on May 30, 2018, in Denville. Born inOrleans, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Frenchie lived in Lake Hiawatha, NJ before settling in Boonton in 1962.
Frenchie was a general contractor in the Boonton area for many years prior to his retirement. Frenchie proudly served in the United States Merchant Marines during World War II, participating in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
Frenchie was the beloved husband of 69 years to the late Anne (nee) Burns; devoted father of Joseph, Suzanne Trowbridge (Russell), Michael (Ruth), and Renee Strother (Tommy); cherished grandfather of Christian (Jackie), Bryan (Emily), Sara (Matt), Mike (Jeanette), Matt (Lindsay), Sammy, Kaitlin (Chris), and Brigitte; Loving great-grandfather of Olivia, Keilyn, Patrick, Matthew, Joelle, Erin, Joshua, Luke and Gabriel.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frenchie’s name to the ARC of Morris County, PO Box 123, Morris Plains, NJ, 07950.
