Obituary of Larissa Ann Schaffnit

Larissa was an accomplished artist and intellectual; and loving daughter, sister and friend.

A graduate of Drew University, she earned a dual Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and Environmental Science. Larissa won numerous awards and accolades for her artwork, exploring the mediums of painting, drawing, sculpture, fashion, jewelry and performance art. She was an avid vintage and antique collector and seller. A lover of animals and the natural world, her artistic vision and impeccable style were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Larissa is survived by her mother Geralyn, her father William, her three siblings William, Jessie and Laura, and her pets Oscar, Felix, Artie, Roxie, Bob, Puffy and Sparkles.

Larissa's sense of humor, intellect, and passion will be painstakingly missed by all who loved her.
